Hainan South China Sea Institute of T™&ropical Ocean (HITO) is a non-profit provincial scientific research ins>γ"titution, established in June 2003. The d≈¶irector, Mr. Chen Hong, is one of the • ₽top ten people who mov$∏ed Hainan in 2017. After y÷♣ears of development, the institute hasσ'§$ initially established a m€"λγarine biological scientific research instα÷itution with tropical marine characteristics. T∑>↑•here are 1500 square meters of coral la©α♠boratory, algae labora∑<tory, Xisha coral experimγ₽<ental station, Sanya Phoeni∑★x Island experimental point ≠₩and so on.
The purpose of the institute is: science ∑Ω↔₽and technology as the root, demand-€±'oriented, realistic and innovati±£™∏ve, focusing on the future, to build a trop←©ical ocean research institute with international↔ ↕ influence. Since the establishment of ★¶&the institute, it has undertaken a se♣≥$✘ries of scientific research and manage ₽♥♠ment projects such as the United Nations, th™≥e Global Environment Fun≈×π₩d, the country, the province, city and cou★→nty, and has achieved positive results, contributφ↓ing to my country's☆₽₩ marine ecological construction, ←✘promoting the development of the✘∞↕γ marine economy and assisting H®™↑ainan's international touriβ sm. contribute positively →↕★to the construction of the island∞$×&.
